Hi this is Priyesh Karkera this is my true story which i had experienced 7 years back when i was 14 so i have considered as my worst experience, its about how i broke my Femur bone while playing Cricket suprised ?

I had just joined high school and i really enjoyed high school when compared to my lower classes we really had some gud times i went out with friends after classes late night movies and so on until the worst day of my life which was december 20th

the day was as usual we went out for lunch with my friends i had some heavy stuff and we planned to bunk the rest of the classes and go for a movie unfortunately we dint get tickets it was house full and we had no other option other than going back to school and we all did the same the afternoon session we had 3 periods 2 regular subject and the last hour was play hour as it was afternoon we were all feeling dam sleepy for the first 2 hours and finally when the school bell rung for the final period we all formed a line and went to the ground

Like all boys i loved to play outdoor games i usualy play cricket and basketball on 20th december i played cricket as we have just 1 hour of play we could never finish of a game so we usually continued the game the next day or the next period on the particular day my team was batting and i was the middle order batsman the openers batted for a while when 1 of them gave away his wicket and the next 2 wickets fell in quick time then came my turn i played a few shorts here and there took a few singles and had a 4 to my account i had quickly raised on to 22 .This was the point when everthing went wrong in my life i was the striker and ready to face the next ball when suddenly the school bell rung and it was the end of the day when i started to walk away the bowler called to me and said face the last ball as i was in a good form i said why not and i went to the pitch and got ready to face the ball, the bowler started his run up and passed the umpire and bowled it was a full length ball and i played a good stroke the ball went to the long off feilder i comfortably took a single and when i turned back the non striker called me back for the 2nd and he had already started back so i couldnt say no so i ran back for the 2nd run as the ball was thrown back to the wicket keeper i was in danger of getting run out i ran with all my energy and few inches near the line i dived full length i fell on the ground flat as our school ground wasnt some international ground it wasnt a fine cricket pitch it had some stones here and there i fell on 1 of the stones but i dint bother because i had to complete my run i was on the ground flat and my bat passed the white line i was really happy that i was not out but still on the ground one of my college mate gave me a hand but i couldn't lift my right leg i just wondered wats wrong i turned a bit facing the sky and tried to sit i couldnt move my leg and my leg was completely twisted

All my friends came near me and tried to find out wat was wrong the helped me to sit on the ground and one of the sirs came near me and examined my leg he told its just a muscle catch and ill be totally fine ,6 of my friends had to lift me and they took me back to school as i couldnt walk they made me lie on the library table and and applied ice and all those stuff but my leg wasnt getting better but it started to swell so they decided to take me to a doctor nearby so they put me in a jeep and took me the hospital were a x'ray was taken meanwhile my parents were informed and it took them 25mins to come to the hospital by the time they came the x'ray was out and the duty doctor told me my femur bone was broken we all were totally suprised till that piont we had just taught its a muscle catch so did my friends and my sirs .Then the doctor asked me wat happened and told him i fell while playing cricket he was really suprised and then he told me that femur bone is the strongest bone in the human body and it cannot bake easily then he jokingly said in the histroy of cricket may be your the first one to brake your femur bone while playing cricket.

By the time i was in the stretcher my dad had already found out the best bone specialist in the city and we later found out that the doctor had his own hospital and i had to be shifted there by that time my right leg had already swelled and i couldnt move even a bit it was so painfull i really cant explain in words i was taken in an ambulance as my frieds had brought me to the hospital they were still there so my mom asked my friends to accompany me in the ambulance and my parents would come in thier car, as my friends were travelling in the ambulance for the 1st time they were really excited and having fun but i couldnt bare the pain at all when the vehicle shuk but they were least bothered about me because they were having their life time experince in an ambulance with the siren on and we finally reached the hospital and i was shifted to the emergency room i was really wild at my friends but the pain made me forget everything i was again x'rayed by the duty doctor and they informed the specialist and the told me as i had heavy food in the afternoon they couldnt operate on me for nearly 8 hours till my food was completely digested they gave me pain killer and i was shifted a room and was told my operation would be at 9pm my freinds wished me best of luck and get well soon and they left as it was already late around 7pm all my cousins, uncle, aunties came to visit me before the operation .At arond 8pm i had a look at my x'ray for the 1st time i was really shocked it wasnt a multiple fracture but the femur bone was correctly broken into 2 rite in the middle at arond 8.45pm 2 nurses with a duty doctor came to my room and dressed me with a green dress they shaved my leg and took me to the operation  theater were i had my 1st look at my doctor he was around 40 tall neatly dressed at around 9.15pm they gave me anesthesia and i was fast a sleep within seconds

when i woke up it was arond 4am and i was in the ICU i was shivering with cold the nurse came up to me and asked if she could help me i was still so drowsy i dont remember wat i told here i fell of to sleep again at around 8am my dad woke me up and asked how was i feeling .I was really feeling dam hungry at that point of time i had my breakfast and then i asked my dad wat did they do to my leg he told me they have inserted a rod and 4screws at both ends i was really scared at that point i was in the ICU for a week then shifted back to my room i was told by the doctor i wont be able to walk for 2months and would have to stay at he hospital for a month, i had atleast 25 visitors a day and was really tired answering them everyone would come up to me and ask the same question wat happened i was really fed up answering and finally after a month i was discharged but i still couldnt walk after nother month i finally was on my feet with the help of crutchers i had to use crutchers for nearly 4 months i lost 4months of school and i could'nt write my final exams but because my previous marks were gud i was let to attend the next grade

After a year i was back to normal playing cricket running around and so on i still think sometimes wat if we had got the movie tickets we would have bunked classes and  i wouldnt have this article written "  The worst day of my life " wat if i hadnt faced the last ball i wouldnt have broken my leg anyways its my faith and my worst day of my life thank you for just going through my article and this was one of my 1st articles written by me when i was in the hospital when i really felt bored i developed the habit of writing articles this was the way i wrote 7years back i havent changed the text even a bit i wanted it to have the original look may be i havent expressed it well without the basics but it was the way i wrote this 7 years back PLz do comment on it thanku
