Before man there was a world, a beautiful world. The flowers blossomed and the animals were at peace. All was in perfect harmony. However time quickly changed and the great resources that were so cherished in this world were stripped away by various evil forces, some natural, and some not. Eventually all will be gone, and all hope will be lost. That is if the people of today do not unite together as one and protect what is meant to stay here. Saving our resources, standing up and fighting for what is right, to save the environment, that will only bring back true beauty to the land. Many have tried, few have succeeded. It takes a very special kind of person to recycle. Someone who is wise, smart, and kind. Someone who can say, "I love my world, and I am going to reuse and recycle this old piece of junk to help it." Not everyone has what it takes to recycle. Some people may not know it, but they harm the environment every day. Most of us do. When we recycle it is like taking a small flame off of the burning world, extinguishing it forever. Putting out that flame brings so more opportunities and so much more life. Every little bit counts in the long run. Every can, every piece of paper, ever plastic bottle you throw out could be re-used for a better place. Some people believe in reincarnation. Well these goods can be "reincarnated" into a better life, a life where people recycle. Other people believe in Karma, and the saying "what goes around comes around". So if you be a good person and recycle, karma says good things will happen to you. What can be lost by recycling? The pride in knowing you hurt the environment and did the wrong thing? However, only gains can be made from recycling. That soda can may go to better use. Recycling basically is a form of giving. It is giving back to your community, your country, and the world. It is taking something that seems useless and finding something to do with it as to not waste our limited resources. Recycling is a seed. One day it will grow and blossom into a flower, and who knows if it will ever stop growing. That flower will branch off, each time you recycle a new branch is made with new flowers that can and will affect people. What do you want to be remembered by? Your recycling habits shows allot about you. Do you put time and effort into things that can and will help other people? Or are you just lazy and wait for someone else to go in and take action. Recycling is necessary for our survival as a species. If you don't recycle that means things will become more expensive, harder to get, and ultimately less important. You don't want to worry if there is resources to charge your cell phone do you? In the end Recycling will be the only path to follow. In conclusion, Recycling is a way to ensure happiness for our generation, and the next.
