When we are young we play different types of games not just to entertain ourselves, but to form our personality also. By playing we understand the world and we start to differentiate what is good from what is bad. However, games are not for children only, they have the same success among adults because games help to develop the team spirit, at the same time it teaches an adult to be competitive and finally it is the healthy life style. First of all games help to develop the team spirit in adults. By playing games like basketball, volleyball an individual learns to cooperate with the other players, it comes up with different techniques to achieve the goal of the game and at the same time a person can be distinguished from the others for its leadership ability. Second, when playing games a person breathes in a competition atmosphere. This helps an adult to do its best to be the first, to be better than the others and to permanently imprint in its soul the desire to win. Not all can win a game, there is always somebody winning and somebody losing. Games can also teach adults how to lose and still not lose its confidence in his own personality. And finally, games help us to keep ourselves fit. It is much healthier to play games, to move, to jump, to think intensively on a winning plan than just to sit on a sofa and watch TV. Games equal movement, and movement means health. Games are much the same as our lives. It is just that our life is real, but the games are just a way to prepare ourselves for the real game. By playing, children and adults can socialize with other people and at the same time to develop important abilities that help them succeed in their lives. |
