Depending upon your type of website and the traffic your site attracts you will be able to earn. And hence, the more the traffic the more you earn.

Secondly, you should follow the techniques that are required to make it to the top 100 websites or top 200 website (whatever your goals are). Just try and search about the keyword “content is king”. What you find here? You will find many articles about this keyword that will explain the reason itself as to why am I writing this here. Basically, your websites needs to be fed by you regularly with good quality content. Many search engines have their criteria for searching in which a good quality content plays are major role. If your website has good content then you will be able to make your site stand some where in this web.

What do I mean by quality content? Well by this I simply mean that your content should not be a copy of some thing that is already on Internet. It should be unique and must have some good keywords in it so that it makes you different from others.

Finally, when your site has made it to the ranking of search engines than your website will start getting traffic. And mind one thing, the more the traffic the more it is successful!
