Blogging has become a household word and people, young and old alike, have either read or wrote one. It allows us to express our thoughts and ideas in just about anything one can possibly think of. It is the cheapest and fastest way to be heard, out loud even.

A lot of companies use blogs as a marketing tool. They hire people to write blogs in order to get more traffic on the internet. Now how does it work? We can understand it better by learning the concepts of an SEO. Typically, when a person searches for something over the internet, he would make use of search engines such as Google or Yahoo and type in some keywords. These search engines would then give a number of results and the sites that are most relevant would be on top of their list. This is where SEO comes in handy because it would edit a website's content to match that of the keywords given, allowing more people to click on it. This will promote heavier traffic compared to those farther down the list.

Companies have realized that it is more cost-effective and efficient to outsource writing jobs to freelance writers. It saves them the hassle of having to come up with articles to write, and most importantly the ideas to put in those articles. They leave this to the experts and that's where writers come in. All these companies have to do now is pool articles from writers around the world and use them as a marketing instrument for their products and services. This would actually save them thousands of dollars in marketing costs. So it's a win-win situation for the companies and the writers- they save money and we earn money. As a result, they rid themselves of the headaches while we get paid for taking care of it for them. It can't get any better than that.

Blogging has become a brilliant money-making idea for freelance writers. It doesn't require a lot of hard work and you can do it at any particular time of the day. If you're a passionate writer, then this should be pretty easy for you. All that is needed is a masterpiece or two or ten a day and you're on your way to earning big bucks! The best thing about it is you're being paid to do something you love. In more ways than one, blogging allows a person to be as expressive as he can be and earn something from it. So, if you're a writer and you haven't been paid for your blogs yet, then it's about time you do. Jump on the bandwagon and don't get left behind!
