Everyone is down, stressed, and glued to the news. Things are changing, but in many cases change is inevitable and what flourishes after can be even better than what was first imagined.

A key element in one's success is keeping a steady mindframe. Many successful people in this world prevail against adversity which is why keeping one's core mentally positive and focused is even more important...shall I say it, "in times like these."

Mellowville.com offers just that-instant mellowness. Whether you're in some cubicle working away for The Man or exploring different ventures in life, Mellowville offers a figurative place to chill. A website that enables one to evacuate stress and make you feel more mellow in just a few minutes a day. Instant chill?

I'm sold.

I sat down with Coach Mellow, the visionary behind Mellowville and here is what he had to say:

Why is it so important to chill? You cannot be productive or and fulfill your creative potential in life when under stress. Mellowness is about ridding anxiety to be your best, to find your authentic self undistracted by the harshness of reality. Sometimes by closing yourself off (even if for a little bit) can help you move forward

What's the purpose behind Mellowville? Where did you find your inspiration? The goal of Mellowville is to make the world a more mellow place. I was inspired at a career transformation seminar in the outdoors of Marin. I felt overwhelmed by others stress and qualms, took an iPod to one of the back rooms and fell asleep on a pile of pillows. When I awoke and looked outside to clear skies and a state of extreme calmness I thought "wow, this is really mellow" then I thought about how the world should be like this all the time, people should be mellow all the time. "Everything in life should be more mellow"

In an ideal world, how could one leverage mellowness to help them through a challenging situation? When one is in a relaxed mental state they are more likely to create, to imagine, and to solve any issues that are presenting themselves. Why worry? Worrying is like praying for something not to happen. Having a clear mind one can help you calmly and decisively transcend adversity.

What's next for Mellowville? Mellowville will be moving into a more community oriented phase with scheduled presence at local events. We will be running and doing something special for Bay to Breakers in San Francisco May 17, we are now on Facebook (fan page: mellowville.com) and Twitter (mellowville), and we our website is in Beta with the hopes of adding "Where's the Mellow" to have a function to help people find the closest mellow spot to where they are and also a public "wall" of wishes to make the world more mellow for all. We also will be at local festivals hoping to make this year the most mellow yet.

It seems in a convenience-based society we forget to also make happiness and relaxation convenient. We always find time to stress, why shouldn't we find time to chill?

Now there isn't any excuse for finding a few minutes to relax a bit during a normal work-filled day. Mellowville.com has mind refreshing thoughts that are only a click away! You can start with a calming five minute flick of the day. Explore global mellow news of the day. Ask advice from coach mellow on Twitter. Or find mellow products, like their custom, smooth roast organic coffee that's 30% decaf to take the edge off.

Check it out, I dare you to CHILL!
