The tolling bells question the night,
Why are you so quiet and dark?
When the parched water quenches life,
And the blanched moon shines stark.

A name for a nameless soul,
In a nameless place divine.
Whitest frost falls on the blank earth,
And spells the name of light.

Why are you gentle, why are you pure?
Why in the mirror are dark grey patches?
Why is your name, the name of light?
Where is the nameless place that i see in snatches?

A rose petal falls through a rain of gray,
Clouds of blackness purge the light.
Unblinking eyes ask for mercy forth,
And nameless humans give in to the night.

Autumn grows into weary winter,
Roses with dew drops become numb.
Frost again falls on nameless horizons,
And the oceans of sorrows cries a nameless hum..
