Alone i stand on a pedestal high,
Under a sky devoid of rain.
A silent caress from a dying wind,
The sky cries words of pain.

Tears of the sun have dried,
Finally the spirit of terra has cried.
Gone is the spring forever,
Winter has befallen paradise.

Flames crown the dying trees,
The ocean has swallowed the sun.
Dark water burns in withering sunlight,
I wonder at what i have done.

Dead roses adorn the lonesome path,
The moon has died tonight.
Forever from now the oceans run dry,
Never will we see the morning light.

Evening has fallen on a darkened horizon,
Where will the sun now rise?
For the sky itself has fallen quiet,
Scared for its own demise.

The sun has set forever,
One by one the stars will die.
The rainbow once bright has turned to black,
Darkness has fallen in paradise.
